Brumbie Country Music Club

Brumbie Country Music Club Inc. Founded in November 1999, Brumbie Country Music Club Inc. has been bringing people together through a shared love of music, dancing, and friendship for more than 25 years. After operating successfully at the Mirrabooka Tavern for seven years, we are now proud to call the Morley Noranda Recreation Club our home. Join us every Sunday for an afternoon of great entertainment and good company. Doors open: 2:00pm Live music: 3:00pm – 6:00pm Entry: $8.00 Children under 16: Free Whether you're a seasoned dancer, a country music enthusiast, or simply looking for a welcoming social outing, you'll find a friendly atmosphere waiting for you. Each week, we feature a different live band, performing a mix of country, country rock, and classic 60s favourites. You can dance the afternoon away or simply sit back, relax, and enjoy the music in the company of friends. Membership is available for just $15 per year, although it is not compulsory. Members enjoy additional benefits, including: Subsidised bus outings Access to our weekly Members' Jackpot We also hold a range of fun activities each week, including: Door prizes Members' Jackpot Money board Raffles All drinks are available at club prices, and in accordance with licensing laws, BYO alcohol cannot be consumed on the premises. MNRC Darts

A friendly and inclusive darts community based in Perth, Western Australia. As part of the Morley Noranda Recreation Club, we’re proud to be part of a broader sporting community while maintaining our own strong identity and welcoming atmosphere. Whether you’re picking up darts for the first time or have years of competition experience, you’ll find a place here. We welcome players of all ages and abilities and aim to create an environment where everyone can enjoy the game, improve their skills, and connect with others. Our club is run by a dedicated committee that keeps things organised, fair, and enjoyable for all members. From coordinating competitions to supporting new players, we’re here to make sure everyone feels included and part of the community. MNRC Darts competes in two local associations: Swans Districts Darts Association (SDDA) – Monday night competitions, with grades from D through to A Sports & Bowling Club Darts Association – Thursday night competitions, with mixed divisions from 1 to 4 These competitions run during the winter season (March to September) and include Singles and Doubles Championships, with matches supported by Darts Connect for scoring and statistics. We also run our own in-house competitions to keep things active year-round. These include: A Tuesday winter mixed competition (predominantly ladies) A Thursday summer competition during the off-season This mix of competitive and social play means there’s always an opportunity to get involved, no matter your experience level. Morley Bowling Club

Founded in 1976, the Morley Bowling Club has been a welcoming part of the Morley/Noranda community for decades — offering a great place to learn, play, and enjoy the game of lawn bowls. With three quality greens, including two under lights and two modern synthetic surfaces, we provide excellent facilities for both social and competitive play, day or night. There’s always something happening at the club. From summer pennants competition to relaxed and social formats like Barefoot Bowls on Wednesday nights, winter pairs on Thursday and Saturday afternoons, and Tuesday morning Scroungers, there are plenty of ways to get involved all year round. Set among beautifully maintained greens, our club is about more than just bowls — it’s about community. It’s a place to connect, share a laugh, and enjoy time with others, whether you’re playing competitively or just having a casual roll. New to bowls? You’re very welcome. No experience is needed — we’ll help you get started with guidance, equipment, and friendly support. All you need to bring is a willingness to give it a go. As one of the larger bowls clubs in the Perth metropolitan area, we’re proud of both our strong presence in Metro Pennants and our vibrant social scene off the greens. Throughout the year, we host a variety of events including community competitions, weekly social bowls, and club favourites like our annual Quiz Night. Lawn bowls is a truly inclusive sport — open to people of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds. Everyone can play together on equal terms. Through Bowls WA’s inclusive programs, we can also assist with adaptive equipment such as bowling arms, approved walking aids, and wheelchair-friendly setups to ensure the game is accessible to all. With the recent addition of our second synthetic green, we’re excited to continue growing and welcoming new players and visiting clubs. Noranda Emerald Football Club

Community-focused football (soccer) club based at the Morley Noranda Recreation Club in Perth, Western Australia. Competing in the Football West leagues, we support players at every stage of their journey — from juniors through to senior and higher-level professional competition. Whether you’re new to the game or looking to continue your football pathway, our club offers an inclusive environment built on teamwork, development, and a genuine love of the game. Our Story Our history is rich, evolving, and deeply connected to the local community. The club began in 1977 as Morley City, founded by John Tinkler and Nick Stoney. In its early years, the team played across several local grounds, including John Forrest Senior High School, Gibbney Reserve, and Elstead Park. In 1996, the club found a more permanent home at the Noranda Sporting Complex, at that time fielding a single Masters team. Over the next two decades, a strong and lasting relationship was built with the Morley Noranda Recreation Club — a connection that remains central to who we are today. A significant step forward came in 2000, when Noranda Wolves joined the club at the same venue. Bringing a strong junior base and a focus on women’s football, this partnership laid the foundations for the thriving junior and inclusive programs we see today. The early 2000s were a period of growth and success. Following a sponsorship agreement in 2004, the club became DVG Morley City and expanded its presence in the (now) Metropolitan League. This era culminated in a Premier League title in 2006. In 2008, the club entered the Amateur Leagues, continuing to build its competitive pathway. By 2014, Noranda City was formally established, reflecting a shared vision to unify junior and senior football within one club. This created a clear and supportive pathway for players to grow and progress through all levels of the game. The Noranda Wolves name continues proudly today, representing the women’s team based at Emberson Reserve. In 2026, the club entered an exciting new chapter, becoming Noranda Emerald Football Club. This evolution brings together a full pathway from juniors through to senior and higher-level football, strengthening our commitment to development, inclusion, and community connection. Today, Noranda Emerald Football Club continues to build on this strong foundation — welcoming new players, supporting lifelong involvement in the game, and celebrating the many people who have shaped the club along the way. Noranda Tennis Club

A welcoming environment for anyone looking to enjoy a game of tennis, meet new people, and stay active. We play social tennis every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 8:30am to 11:00am on the courts adjoining the Morley Noranda Recreation Club. Whether you’re a regular player or just getting back into the game, you’re warmly invited to come along and join in. Full membership gives you the flexibility to play anytime — day or night, seven days a week. As a member, you’ll also have access to the excellent facilities at the Morley Noranda Recreation Club, including the sports bar, TAB, social events, and function room hire. If you’d like to try things out first, visitors are very welcome. You can join a session for a $5 casual fee per visit, making it easy to drop in and see if the club is right for you. The courts are also available for public hire at $5 per person, per hour. Simply check in with the bar staff at the Recreation Club next to the courts. As a non-profit organisation, Noranda Tennis Club is proud of its strong community spirit. We also enjoy a range of social activities, including informal morning teas and lunches — a great way to connect both on and off the court.
